Children’s Books and YA

We only publish fiction.

No picture books. 

We are looking for authors whose writing stands out and makes the young reader want to turn the page. You must be a good story teller and someone who can do a bit of  magic with words. We receive too many submissions from people who feel that  children’s fiction is  there only or primarily  to teach and that all that matters is  the theme that’s their focus. Of course we’d all like to save the planet  or create a generation that does!

Adult Fiction

Sorry— no short stories or poetry

We don’t publish adult horror fiction or  pure fantasy though we are open to magical realism. No science fiction.  

We are quite  literary which I  know means wildly different things to different people! At the moment, I’m reading Haruki Murakami. 

Your book must be full length which  means at least forty thousand words. 

We try to respond to every query but we do receive a lot of submissions.

Please send a brief summary, something about yourself and three chapters or the first fifty pages. Please send your sample as an attachment. We don’t publish books that have already been self published.
