Originally from the Chicago area, Brian spent part of his career as an award-winning director and choreographer. His fiction has appeared in the London Independent Story Prize, Gingerbread House, New Millennium Writing (Muse Award), The Foundling Review, Plots with Guns, Bristol Noir and Isele Magazine. He served as Artistic Director of the Riverside Stage Company in New York City for five years. He has directed and taught at Yale University, Fordham University and Myongi University in South Korea.
He’s jumped from a plane, on purpose – not by accident and lives in a 250-year old house with his husband, two ghosts, and a mortgage.
