Holly Ovenden wins British Cover Design Award for The Acrobats of Agra

Congratulations Holly on winning the 6-12 children’s category with The Acrobats of Agra by Robin Scott Elliot, published by Everything with Words.

This year Ovenden was named as one of The Bookseller‘s Rising Stars alongside fellow winner Alcaino, as well as being shortlisted for Designer of the Year at the British Book Awards, alongside Pearson, Prior and Morrison. Lauren Wakefield, a designer at Penguin, also claimed three ABCD nominations.

We are just so lucky having Holly design covers for us. We all love working with Holly. Her covers don’t just enhance the books— they have a special way of expressing visually what the writer has put in words and adding something of their own. They compliment the writing in a way that’s just awesome. Thank you Holly! For more on Holly visit her website https://www.hollyovenden.com/
